The United Federation of Planets says Yes

By Jed Hynite our Science and Technology Correspondent

kirk-spock-yessingBBC Scotlandshire has received a number of endorsements for the Yes Scotland campaign for Scottish independence, from what appear to be members of the United Federation of Planets, better known as the Federation.

We are unable to verify the authenticity of these images, as they appeared on a table in the news room, following some flashing lights and funny noises. We, therefore, have no information regarding their origin.

However, we have decided to publish the images in the absence of provenance, just in case they really do come from the future, and we are caught backing the wrong horse.

Another theory circulating Atlantic Quay is that these images are actually from the 1960s, and have been hanging around in the archives for decades. Another is that they were produced by malodorous cybernat keyboard warriors with no girlfriends, or prospects of finding one.

We will let you, our viewers, decide which of these is most likely. Here are the images we were 'sent'.
